On Wednesday, May 5th, George’s Dreshertown Shop ‘n Bag will host the 13th Upper Dublin Education Foundation Day. Shop n Bag donates a portion of the day’s receipts to the Upper Dublin Education Foundation, a non-profit community organization whose educational and charitable purpose is to support programs for the benefit of students in the Upper Dublin School District. Our programs include mini-grants to educators, awarding grants to graduating seniors, and the highly successful mentoring program. In the past eleven years, the Foundation has spent over $300,000 supporting these special programs along with others.
While you shop, enjoy the sight and sounds of student groups performing and inexpensive refreshments. UDHS teachers, administrators, and students will be on hand to bag your groceries.
